It opens on saffron, mango and bergamot, moves into rose and iris, and settles into agarwood, nagarmotha and musk. Rich, opulent and expressive, with saffron and rose providing radiance and oud supplying the depth underneath. It leaves a trail that is meant to be remembered.
The saffron fields of Kashmir, specifically the Pampore belt where Indian saffron is grown. The fragrance is built around warmth, colour and abundance, using saffron as the central material and pairing it with rose, iris and agarwood, the register of Kashmiri and North Indian fragrance tradition.
Oud is a central part of it, present as agarwood in the base alongside nagarmotha and musk. What makes it different from a straight oud fragrance is the saffron, mango and rose above it, which keep the composition bright and floral rather than dark. It is oud made wearable.
It delivers 8 to 10 hours with high projection, which is among the strongest performance in the Eze range. Agarwood, nagarmotha and musk are heavy, tenacious materials, so the fragrance remains present through long events and typically lingers on clothing overnight.
It is listed for festive occasions, celebrations and gifting. Weddings, receptions, sangeets, Diwali functions and evening events are its natural setting. Given the projection and the oud density it is not intended as a daily office fragrance.
It is one of the strongest wedding season fragrances Eze makes. Saffron, rose and oud are the exact register Indian celebration wear occupies, and the composition holds through long multi hour functions and heavy fabrics where a lighter fresh scent would disappear within an hour.
Both use saffron and rose, but they resolve differently. Daybreak in Kannauj is softer and warmer, finishing on vanilla, tonka and amber for a quieter elegance.
