Awe is a modern floral with an edge. Grapefruit, rosemary and cardamom open it up with a fresh spicy lift, ylang-ylang and tuberose fill the heart, and a base of suede, Virginia cedar, leather and vetiver grounds it. The result is floral but clean and contemporary rather than sweet or traditional.
Awe lasts 6 to 8 hours with mid projection. It wears close to the skin, which is part of its character. The suede and cedar base is quietly persistent, and several customers report catching it well into the evening after a morning spray, particularly where it has settled on clothing.
Awe is one of the most office appropriate fragrances in the For Her range precisely because it is not strong. Mid projection keeps it in your personal space, and the grapefruit and cardamom opening reads professional rather than perfumed. All three are For Her florals, but they sit in different places. Joy is a bright white floral with high projection, Flow is soft, powdery and vanillic, and Awe is the driest and most modern of the three with leather, suede and cedar in the base. Awe is the choice if you find most florals too sweet.
Awe is listed as For Her but the leather, suede, vetiver and cardamom in the composition give it enough dryness to be worn by anyone.
