Malabari Breeze opens on ripe mango with ginger, lemon and red berries, moves through coumarin, jasmine and cedarwood, and settles into musk, ambergris and agarwood. It is tropical brightness over a serious woody base, warm coastal air rather than a simple fruity scent.
It is built around the Malabar Coast of Kerala, a region defined by mango orchards, spice trade and sea air. The mango and ginger opening reflects the produce of the coast, while the agarwood and ambergris base carries the depth of its spice trading heritage. It is a place translated into fragrance.
