Magic is warm and spicy with smoke underneath. Cinnamon, pink pepper, chestnut and elemi open it, lavender, sage, amber and tobacco form the heart, and vanilla, leather, guaiac wood, oud and cedarwood make up the base. Comforting at first because of the vanilla and cinnamon, intriguing later as the oud and leather come through.
Magic lasts 8 to 10 hours with high projection. Oud, guaiac wood, leather and vanilla are all slow evaporating materials, so the drydown dominates the wear and stays close and persistent. It is one of the longest lasting and most reviewed fragrances in the For Him line.
Magic is a winter and festive fragrance first. Cinnamon, tobacco, amber and vanilla project best in cooler air, and the smoky woody base suits evening events, weddings and celebrations. In peak summer it can feel heavy, so drop to one or two sprays or switch to Surge or Elation for daytime heat.
Magic is better suited to evenings and dates than to daytime office wear. The projection is high and the spice and oud profile is deliberately noticeable. If you want to wear it to work, one spray on the chest under a shirt is the safe approach, otherwise keep it for after hours.
Both are dark and long lasting, but Magic leads with warm spice, tobacco and vanilla, giving it a gourmand smoky feel, while Boujee leads with oud, leather and raspberry for something sharper and more animalic.
